We're Back!
March 09, 2010The Baroness is off to Asia!
February 02, 2010
I know the website just got started, but it's time for Carlos Beast, Huck Gee, and I to venture off to Asia!
We will be going to Cambodia to donate the money raised from the 30 Customs by 30 Artists charity auction from April. I'm really excited to work with various schools and the Siem Reap Children's Hospital during our time there.
In addition to Cambodia we will also be traveling through Laos and Thailand until the end of February.
The website will be on hold till the beginning of March. So please check back then for details of our Asian Adventure! xoxo

Mist and Tilt Forever!
January 04, 2010
In 2008 Mist and Tilt came over to my new apartment and gave me the best housewarming present ever – a huge mural on my living room wall.
There were hours of spray paint fumes (we had to open all of the windows to prevent from killing every last braincell we had) but the risk was worth it just to watch Mist and Tilt work together. I had never seen a piece be created from start to finish before, so I was amazed and totally entranced for the 8 hours we spent confined in the room. From that day forward every time I looked at the wall I thought of how much fun we had and how inspired I was watching them work together with little words but such cohesiveness.
We always joked that when I moved we would have to cut out the wall and take it with us. Well, we are moving at the end of the month and concrete isn’t going allow us that luxury. Our landlord told us we had to paint over the wall before we left, it sucked, but we always knew it would not last forever. Nothing ever does, especially in the world of graffiti.

December 09, 2009
When French graffiti artist TILT told me he was coming to stay in NYC for a year I was excited to say the least. TILT is one of the sweetest, most talented people I have ever met. And even though his crazy ass spent more time traveling around the world painting walls and naked women (yes, your job does suck) I was still happy to know that Brooklyn was his home base for a while.
TILT moved back to France last week. I will miss him a ton, but know I will see him soon, in some random country. But in memory of his stay in New York this year, I wanted to share photos of his studio, filled with paint, high heels, and bubble love. Enjoy.

This weekend marked the official opening of Hope Gallery Tattoo, Joe Capobianco’s latest Mecca for Art and Tattoos located in New Haven, CT.
Do yourself a favor and go there NOW. Not only will your senses get overloaded with amazing art, but you’ll have the chance to get tattooed by some of the greatest artists in the industry (and also grab a drink at the bar, play Rock Band in the lounge, or watch a movie on the projector)
The Skulls of Mexico City
November 27, 2009
On a recent trip to Mexico for Day of the Dead, I was amazed at the amount of skulls I saw all over the city.
Seeing as I LOVE skulls, I decided to start a project while I was there and photograph every skull I saw for an entire week. It was a pretty exhausting to keep up with as you will see.
The final result was 420 photos of skulls. They were made of sugar, etched in stone, found in graves, made by kids, worn on faces, and painted on walls – and they were all in Mexico City.
